All for Katie

What does a nerd do on a free day? Go to the science museum of course! I went to Body Worlds 3, and quickly stopped in a few places in the rest of the museum and planetarium. Almost everywhere in the museum, you can still hear this animatronic T-Rex growling. It gets pretty old pretty fast. In essence, I would like to validate Kate's distaste for all things Paleontological. I too am greatly disappointed when the cover story of National Geographic or Discover is Dino-based. If one feels a need to study large, carnivorous lizards, I recommend focusing on the Komodo Dragon; a very worthy adversary.

I totally agree. Dinosaurs are ugly and repulsive. And it is my personal religious opinion that they never actually live on earth. They were on some other leftover planet, and when the earth was made that planet, dinosaur bones and all, were used to form our planet. Gary Larson of Farside fame confirmed this when he penned a cartoon showing aliens, on earth, having a picnic of fried dinosaur and throwing the bones willy-nilly.

Dinosaurs fossils are vital for the understanding of the so called "Evolution" of Earth and the more is discovered the more we'll know where did they came from, why did they despaired and what role did they play towards homo-sapient.
