When Sara was here, we went for a drive to see the arch. First we saw it from the west at the Old Cathedral, then we drove to the road east of the arch and found out we weren't going on closer. The heavy rains of the previous week had flooded the river. I don't think this compares to the flood of 1995, but for someone who came from a desert, it's pretty impressive.
