Redneck Radio
Ever since the radio was stolen out of the Honda, Nick has needed to improvise for his commuter entertainment. Problem solved: the 2nd generation iPod has a speaker. Nick selects some music and puts the iPod in his shirt pocket for his listening pleasure. As long as you never need a traffic update, you'd never miss the radio.

i think the proper term there is "ghetto"
I would like to point out that I am using high level technology to accomplish my in the car music listening. I think the terms 'inovative' or 'resourceful' radio would be more appropriate personally.
I think Nick is somewhat of a MacGyver sometimes.
