Diaper Bag

My little guy is three months old, rolls over, and I'm still using the free diaper bag that the evil infant formula company provided at the hospital. In the quest for the perfect diaper bag, (which doesn't exist), we concluded that the inside of the bag has to be light colored. Black lining makes the inside dark and things hard to find.

Also, most inexpensive bags have really cheap zippers. When you buy products with zippers, look for YKK on the zipper pull- then you know you have something good.

What do you think about this bag? What's the most important feature to look for?

The YKK on the zipper is important because that means it's Y2K compliant. All other zippers turned to crap in the change over to the year 2000.

I would say to get a bag that you can wash! I would say get a bag from Vera Bradley. I love my hand bags and they have diaper bags as well. They are washable and they have good sized pockets and good zippers or none!

We like backpacks instead of diaper bags. We never did find a diaper bag that we liked. You can buy a changing pad to put inside that has spaces for the diapers and whatnot and since it's a backpack the weight is distributed more evenly. When JD got older, we bought him his own little backpack and made him carry his own diapers. He loved it. Of course, Henry isn't to that point yet.

The hand model is Katie. I ended up getting this bag. It is completely machine washable.
